Not the United Nations! That's totally different! Because sometimes they don't vote the way we want them to! A League of Nations! Where we pick the members! And tell them how to vote!

That, my friends, is how you get international cooperation.

  The source articles show him talking about "league of Democracies" not league of nations. It may be a real quote, or not. The important, and scary, part is that what he was really doing was repeating warmongering rubbish about Iran - nuclear weapons, arming Iraqi insurgents, etc.
  
  I don't think ginning up excuses for yet more wars was in Wilson's 13 points. Maybe Charlie Wilson.
