My latest issue of AQHA Journal has an article by the President of AQHA - American Quarter Horse Association.
In it, he states for the first time since the registry was founded, breeding/registrations are down and show numbers are way off. Costs a boatload of money to haul horses to a show. People are starting to trailer-pool, believe it or not. This is completely foreign to horse people.
