in order to milk them of a few more dollars. Dan Abrams last night was fuming about this, saying it was an awful thing to do--to stay in the race just to suck a few more dollars out of people to cover her debts.

they have been doing a lot of "Lying" lately.
If Obama gives Hillary some of the money I donated to his campaign I will be TOTALLY PISSED.
I don't have much money to give and I SURE AS HELL wouldn't choose to give any of it to Hillary.
If it turns out that my Donation to Obama was really a donation into the Clinton's Bank Account I will be besides myself with Rage.

I just told him that if he pays one red cent of Hillary's money she loaned to herself, I will no longer donate to his campaign. I don't have a problem if he pays off all the small businesses that Hillary is stiffing. But I DO NOT want him to give her one cent to pay herself back or to pay what she owes Penn.
I think he could get some great publicity out of this if he tells the world that he's paying off all the debts she incurred with her small business vendors, but no one else.

and supporters to retire her campaign. In what world should she expect Obama to pay off her spendthrift campaign debt? Call Haim Saban Hillary.

candidate to pay off the campaign debts of the closest opponent. As I understand it, tho, almost all of her money is from her own funds, at this point. I don't think any of your Obama money is going to go to her, but it really is at HIS discretion, and his wishes should be honored. We gotta heal up fast, folks. I saw first hand (I was at the convention) in '68 when Humphrey lost narrowly to Nixon, largely because the anti-war candidates would not endorse Humphrey, nor campaign for him. I think it is a "bite nose to spite face" attitude, and not worthy of my Kossack friends.

tell him this. Many of us have done so already. The less connection he has with the Clintons on any level, the better his chances of winning the general.

All the rhetoric about being a "fighter" for "the working people" is now just a scam to bilk them of their hard-earned money (during a recession) so she and Bill get back more of the millions they foolishly squandered!
When you or I blow the family nest egg on some crazy midlife-crisis-defying stunt, do we get to pass the hat to recoup??

make back some her cash by writing a book about her Presidential campaign? I'm sure there still will be plenty of her supporters willing to buy a book. It is not like Bill is poor anyway, so they will be fine.
by pgm 01 on Wed May 07, 2008 at 03:15:42 PM PDT
why squander any chance to make money from the Democrats?
But she'll want Her & Bill's stash paid back by her gullible troop of cultists.
by Jimmy Crackcorn on Wed May 07, 2008 at 03:17:12 PM PDT
I hope her supporters realize the scam she is pulling and abandon her sorry excuse for a campaign.

Write the rules??
This is ridiculous! There are rules for a reason. Just like a board game, you reach a certain # of points and you win. If the mark keeps moving the game NEVER ends.
Why are they letting her do this crap? NO ONE ELSE would be able to get away with this. Imagine BHO moving the goal so many times????
