  •  Interesting perspective here in Ohio (4+ / 0-)

Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones represents a district that went heavily for Obama.  She is a national co-chair of Clinton's campaign, and has as recently as Tuesday afternoon made very supportive statements of Clinton's candidacy.

As far as I am aware, she has not made any public statements about the campaign since Tuesday evening.  I do not expect her to switch, but if she raises doubts about Clinton's viability that's a signal that the end is near.

I heard her on Wednesday morning's ON POINT still stumping for Senator Clinton and trashing Obama and his supporters, most notably Joe Andrews, who was on with her, and still maintaining Senator Clinton can "win" the nomination, using all the stale and constantly-shifting "talking" points.  Given that I am biased, I thought she conducted herself poorly and Joe Andrews conducted himself well, but, of course, that was what I was prepared to think.  There is something eerie, however, about Clinton and her supporters' split from reality, and though I believe no one could trump Resident Bush and his thugs for disconnect, in this point -- the idea that "if we say it's true it's true" -- there is some similarity.
