that diary is like this one - interpreting Hillary as "racist" based on non-racist remarks. Diaries that falsely accuse the Clintons of racism do not attract Hillary supporters to the Obama camp.

I don't care about attracting Hillary supporters if it means letting racism pass without challenge.

There's a difference.
A poorly worded response and frankly just stupid strategy, inviting this backlash. She could have made her point in so many different ways.

...as Bill Burton pointed out in that very same USA Today article:
Obama spokesman Bill Burton said that in Indiana, Obama split working-class voters with Clinton and won a higher percentage of white voters than in Ohio in March. He said Obama will be the strongest nominee because he appeals "to Americans from every background and all walks of life. These statements from Sen. Clinton are not true and frankly disappointing."
John McCain will end Roe v. Wade if he's president.

The diarist is right. Even Bush wouldn't stoop to using outright racial terms to divide this country. This goes beyond Karl Rove. She might as well say, "There are low-information white voters who will never vote for a n****r. They'll vote for me though."
