As I wrote in prior message tonight, the odds of Pelosi and Feinstein, 2 of the most powerful leaders in Congress, not knowing about AT&T's NSA complicity merely 7-20 blocks from their offices in the most liberal city in America, San Francisco, must be staggering.
Here, let Google Maps lay it out for you, since pictures tell a thousand words -- or at least 10 of Dennis's 35 Articles of Impeachment:

Imagine the Speaker of House, who has political ties and patronage from decades in SF politics, not having and knowledge of what's going on there.
She was briefed on torture --- and looked the other way.
What makes one think she wasn't briefed on this?
And why did she take impeachment off the table for real? I've always thought it's because if impeached, the rules of evidence compel that all evidence be produced to House conducting the hearings.
Yes, this is not proof, it is merely speculation. But consider that pelosi, whose hands are bloody by approving torture -- then acting like she was anti-torture in her tortured TV rhetoric -- probably knows the evidence that would come out is that SHE WAS BRIEFED AND APPROVED THIS as part of the "extraordinary circumstances in a Post- 9/11 world"
THAT's TURLEY'S POINT.
