You can find him at his site, Narco News and his reporting on the Presidential election is at The Field.
Al is smart, savvy, experienced and an expert in political campaigns. He lives in Mexico and has a global perspective and his writings on Latin America are superb.
Nebraska: Who knew it was a hotbed of activist trust-funded latte-drinking Prius-driving brainwashed caucusers? It's not just about the corn.

...when speaking of the aging leaders of the anti-Castro organizations (and I don't think Kos or anybody else has used the term to refer to all Cuban-Americans, as the diarist claims). It's a widely understood term throughout Latin America and is used most actively by Cubans on the island of Cuba. It's clearly not an ethnic slur.
The diarist doesn't cite a single quotation to document his complaint. My guess is that he doesn't want to read criticism of those leaders that are violence-supporting mafiosi (a term more often used to describe we of Italian heritage, by the way) of the sort that rally behind mass murderers like Luis Posada Carrilles. So if he doesn't like the critiques here, he's really going to hate my blog!
best,
Al Giordano
