And what he's been reporting is a steady, relentless campaign by Cheney and the neocons to gin up a war with Iran, by any means necessary. But he's also reported, repeatedly, that these efforts have been blocked, so far, by the Pentagon (first by the joint chiefs, then by the joint chiefs and Bob Gates). What Hersh may have missed (or at least undestimated) is the fact that the George Bush-Condi Rice mutual regard society also isn't too keen on the idea.
Other than that, though, I have no reason to think his reporting is wrong (although in the case of this false-flag attack stuff, I hope to God he is. This really is Nuremberg stuff.

And I think his reporting has served to make the bomb-bomb-bomb-bomb-bomb-Iran boys more cautious and the opposition more determined to stop the vile idiocy before it can begin.
