    polls are a snapshot and not a prediction.

    Polls tell what people plan to do as of today.  They don't take into account future events.

    You are absolutely right.  Polls are not odds.  They shouldn't be reported as such.  As I've said before, this isn't a weather forecast.  When Chris and Nate Silver report about Sestak having certain odds of winning the election, they have an effect on voters who read their predictions.  When you predict the weather, it doesn't change its behavior based on what it read at DailyKos or the New York Times.  But voters do.

    Nate and Chris are doing Sestak a disservice.  And I hope that Sestak and the voters of Pennsylvania prove them both wrong and that it has some impact on both of their inflated egos.

    And when Sestak does win, it will be in spite of Chris and Nate, not because of them.
