You're just not willing to make it.  Polarization?  What the hell does that mean, if not stirring them up?

And the fact that you didn't even realize what you were doing says a lot about power, and all the little perks that come with being white.

Like I said, compare this to the film I mentioned before, Shooter.  Shooter is about an ex military guy, who gets set up  and double crossed during an assassination by a senator and his secret military lackeys.  The setup 'little guy' goes on the run, finding help wherever he can.  There is much action, a bit of romance, and the senator finally gets what's coming to him in the end.

Plot sound familiar?  No complaints from you I assume.  No complaints from the people you're worried about either.

Wonder why?  Think it might have something to do with the star of each movie:

Nah, nah, that couldn't be it at all.

    •  I guess polarization was a bad word choice (0+ / 0-)

but I'll repeat I am not concerned about the White racists.

What I'm concerned about is that this movie at this time  may cause someone to kill somebody. And that may cause somebody to kill somebody else.  And so on, and so on, and so on.

Either you're illiterate, or you're just changing your story now that it's been poked full of (machete) holes.  Cause polarization and killing spree are uh... very different things.

Assuming I'm wrong though, and that you're not just changing your story, but are in fact illiterate, why do you believe this movie might be responsible for a wave of killings and recrimination?  Why haven't any of the countless similar Hollywood movies caused the same thing to unfold?
