    but others that I also enjoy not included in your list are Faure, Dvoak and Berlioz (which of course is massive in the forces required).

    Brahms wrote something very personal, picking ou the biblicalm verses he used, because he was honoring his own mother.

    At the music camp in Interlochen Mi, when I attended in the 1950's and 1960's, we had a four-year rotation of Mozart, Brahms, Verdi and Dvorak.
