This movement to repeal the estate tax has been going on for decades, BTW.

It's just a detail that might become important later on. And then again, maybe not.

      That's such a Republican tactic.

      •  No, not that! (0+ / 0-)

I just wonder if she was at all involved in the Walton family's efforts to repeal the inheritance tax. But I know that we'll probably never know for sure or what, if anything, she did to advance the family's objective because it's privileged, confidential information.

Just a detail to file away in long-term memory to see what, if anything, comes of it.

That's totally guilt by association.  Also an attempt to tar with the same brush.

          And such a republican tactic.

Once, I might not think so.  But repetition of said innuendo?  Just something to file away in long-term memory and see what, if anything, comes of it.

The chips are down. Find your outrage.

Your accusation makes no sense. Lawyers frequently do things on behalf of their clients with which they do not, themselves, agree.

But if such a lawyer later becomes a politician, and then when running for some even higher office--say, president, maybe--takes a public stand which is directly opposite that which they took and performed on behalf of their client, it might have the taint of hypocrisy. And it might have the appearance of impropriety.

What does this mean? Same brush as what other use?

BTW, I'm probably more of a progressive Democrat than you are. I'm not a troll, and certainly not a Republican. Like most who read and comment here, I have preferences for our party's 2008 Pres'l nominee. But Mrs. Clinton is not among them.

      •  Well she was close with them as well as the (0+ / 0-)

Stephens people who I believe were responsible for great Commodity trades.
And I am not sure that W's sister's husband  is one of these Kochs. Unless he is the one that said the others screwed him and Cheated the Government out of over a BILLION on their dealings with SOR.
Now though he works in the wine industry and not the Koch endeavers.
