    and I fully suspect more races shifting into the "no clear favorite" category.

    It will be a "rising tide lifts all ships" scenario, or in this case a "receding tide lowers all ships" for the republicans.  It's going to be a fight, but many sure-thing repubs will find out nothing's going to be a sure thing.

    In my home district (OH-15) Deborah Pryce has the gerrymandered district working for her, but from everything I sense she's going to have a fight on her hands from Mary Jo Kilroy.  I think many of the  other "sure-thing" republicans of the past will find this to be true in their districts, as well.

    I'm highly optimistic for the midterms.  I won't go so far as predict a Democratic majority in the house, but I also won't say it can't and won't happen. :: Power Ranking the Presidential Candidates

      This weekend down in New Orleans for the DNC, I was interacting with the Ohio College Democrats representatives (I'm Michigan and, yes, there was a sports-related ribbing that transpired). Just wanted to comment that they were very high on Mary Jo Kilroy and her candidacy.


      I am very optimistic about Kilroy v. Pryce. -- the Political State Report! Check it out!
