    Get involved folks - people are dying right now and to sit idly by while our fellow human beings suffer is inexcuseable.

    Honestly - IMHO other issues pale in comparison.  This is the worst case of genocide in generations - the first of the 21st century.

    We can - and MUST do something to demand a stop to this atrocity.  Contacting the White House, Congress, the State Dept. and our voice at the UN are a good start.

    Educate yourselves by going to www.savedarfur.org

    And then write letters to the editor of your local papers.

    Talk to family and friends.  Co-workers too.

    We failed to act during the days of genocide in Rwanda but we know about what's happening in Darfur - it's a slow-motion version of Rwanda.  The word is out.  There's no excuse to remain silent now.
