If the majority can vote away my rights today, then they can vote away yours tomorrow.

    •  When you can get several million to agree, (0+ / 0-)

then maybe you can think about redefining the brand. In the meantime, the smartest approach is not to use it under any circumstances.

Type RNC if you're keen on three-letter abbreviations. Better still, ask if it's even necessary to specify party. Kentucky has only one governor. No need to ID him further as a Republican--not in the title.

      Instead of:
      GOP Governor of KY
      just write:
      KY Gov Ernie Fletcher

In the body, you have all the space you need to write out Republican

anytime one is talking about a corrupt, indicted, disgraced Republican official (or convicted), ALWAYS make sure you say "Republican" when describing him. that's one of the underhanded ways the MSM kowtows to the Repugs - leave out "Republican" when talking about Bob Ney or whoever, but make sure and call Harry Reid "Democratic Senate Leader"  when repeating the lie about him taking money from Abramoff.

Always, always always call them "Republican." And calling them "GOP" is fine too - the irony is extra delicious when saying "disgraced GOP congressman Cunningham."

And "RNC" isn't another name for the party, it's the name of their organization. "RNC" works fine if you're talking about Ken Mehlman, not so good when talking about Tom DeLay (unless he takes a job with the RNC after leaving the House).
