  •  I did read his Huffpost piece (0+ / 0-)

and it is on that basis that I say that he is all about message, and is dissing organizing.

I understand that the organizing budget is up at the DNC. I support that.

I stand by my view of Begala and his Huffpost piece. He apologized for his insults to good people doing their jobs. He did not back off one whit from his view that it is not the best use of funds.

    •  sorry yes. about those consultants (0+ / 0-)

What are those consultants being paid for?  Probably helping to reorient the DNC away from being a cash cow for the Paul Begalas, and more towards being an agency for building the party around the country.

The issue is not consultants per se.  That is a red herring. The issue is what kinds of consultants and what they are being used for. Begala doesn't say. And he may or may not know.

      •  LOL (0+ / 0-)

both sets of consultants believe they are trying to build the party around the country.

one set by motivating the base.  assuming the middle will follow.  blindly.  they won't.

the other set by motivating the middle.  assuming the base will follow.  blindly.  they won't.

but, either way, the consultants will get paid, and there's no reason to be less distrustful of one consultant who gets paid compared to any other consultant who gets paid.

        they will get paid.

        •  well, there IS one reason ... (0+ / 0-)

... which is that one consultant (actually, one group of consultants, but we'll let Paul Begala stand in for all of them) has been consistently losing elections for 25 years.

I am further of the opinion that the President must be impeached and removed from office!

    •  it is not the best use of 80% of all (0+ / 0-)

      funds.

      i'll agree with that.

if that means i'm agreeing with paul and disagreeing with you, so be it.
