I am no fan of David Frum. But let's get our facts straight. The insinuations re: hanky-panky about his acquisition of U.S. citizenship are untrue.

Frum was not plucked from the obscurity of being a Toronto columnist and installed in the White House by a sinister neocon cabal. He had been a legal resident alien (green card holder) in the U.S. for many years.
Resident aliens may apply for citizenship after 5 years. Frum waited much longer -- as did Christopher Hitchens, David Rakoff and many others.

Preferential treatment for Frum? Hardly. During his White House tenure, he had to sign-in as a visitor to
one colleague or another due to  secrity reasons stemming from his Canadian citenzenship.

There's lots to criticize about the fake story. But let's not make stuff up ourselves.

Point taken about sticking to the facts.

Why on earth are you responding to my post? I made no claims about any kind of preferential immigration treatment for Frum whatsoever. I simply called him a weasel and compared him unfavourably with his late mother. My facts are fine in both regards.
