My mother's aunt Polly was a WWII veteran of the WACs. IIRC, she served at Governor's Island.  One of her favorite songs from that time referred to a base known as Oglethorpe.  I'm not sure the exact name, but she liked this song and since I forgot to include her, I'd like to put it in now.  It is sung to the tune of the Marine Hymn (apologies in advance).

You can tell a WAC from Oglethorpe
You can tell her by her walk
You can tell a WAC from Oglethorpe
You can tell her by her talk
You can tell a WAC from Oglethorpe
    By her appetite and such
You can tell a WAC from Oglethorpe
But you cannot tell her much
