  •  Boutique Medicine is future (8+ / 0-)

I don't know why people are surprised to see this coming.  The wealthy will get their health care, with private nurses and docs,  their houses on the beach, their Hummers, their trips 'abroad,' and the rest of the population (see Mexico, or Sao Paulo or Moscow) get to stay home and take what is left, which isn't much.

The idea of Boutique Medicine is just a natural consequence of class, have's and have more's.  No, I am not liking it, but this is what we will have more of unless we make changes in the U.S. and soon.  HMO's raise medical costs and I'm sure this represents a huge piece of that magical "1500 dollars" that GM claims is undermining its North American car business.

Boston Tea Party II I say.

    Good Luck.
