    And by the way, I am conspiring to troll rate Geekesque into a very long sentence (which may or may not involve death by paint balling).

    There are conspiracies, and then there are conspiracies. The kind we are hearing about nowadays -- starting with Eagles Soar Ashcroft and now with Camp Follower Gonzalez -- are decidedly off the beam of American jurisprudence. We are beginning to see a disregard for many of the tenets of the law, including those relating to legal protections, the nature of confessions, the rules of evidence, and more. The judge and jury commentary in this case is illuminating. They're warning that the law is being severely bent to reach the "desired verdict." We are warning that it won't take much from this administration and DOJ to go from "severely bent" to outright broken.
