I am voting for and rooting for the more liberal one.  That would be Senator Clinton who has the advantage of also being the woman and the better intellect.

Seriously folks, if we are going for candidates who voted for the IWR, Clinton is the best of the bunch and has a much better chance of winning than Edwards.

I suggest that if you don't want a Clinton candidacy, get on board with a more liberal grassroots populist candidate like Gore or Feingold.

But HILLARY? REALLY? No! I don't think so. She has been one of the most middle of the road Senators running. Feingold! Now there's somoeone I could support! Being a woman isn't enough. You need to be a woman who hasn't taken the garb of a man and Hillary has done that! She's sold out to the 'old boys' network.' And the repubs want to run against her....that's reason enough to say, "HELL NO!"

      •  please check her record (0+ / 0-)

you are mistaken if you think she has been more middle of the road than other candidates.  The only real smudge on her record is the IWR vote and the stupid flag thing.  But I don't care about the flag thing.

chance of winning.  Half the nation already despises the women.

Hillary running in 2008 will guarantee a GOP victory. She may be qualified, and may be a great president if given the chance.

But she will never be elected. Period. Sorry.

    •  No way that Hillary has a bigger chance than Edwa (0+ / 0-)

rds. What do you base that opinion on?

Every poll I've seen shows Edwards dramatically outperforming Hillary and every other possible Democratic candidate in general election matchups.  The only drawback has been that he's been losing to Hillary in head-to-head matchups, but this poll is a major exception and a good sign.
    •  Edwards is far more populist than (0+ / 0-)

      Gore.

Gore was for draconian welfare reform, NAFTA, etc.

Heck, Gore was anti-choice and anti-gay until he started to think about running for president in 1987.

Democrats are the party of those who are working, those who have finished working, and those who want to work. -- Elizabeth Edwards
