  •  They rightfully avoided Larry's question... (9+ / 0-)

about Hillary for President.  He's trying to make them commit to supporting Hillary for President at this point.

Fortunately, even Hillary wouldn't take the bait, and said they were all focusing on THIS current Congress, and then re-election for some of them in November.

Hillary is the Republican choice for a candidate. They already have her researched and have figured a strategy for running against her. If somebody like Clark or Warner winds up running, they're going to have to do all that work all over again.

      In other news,

"Although bettors are evenly divided between Clinton and Gore, a resounding majority believe that the 44th President of the United States will be a Democrat,"

The lone and level sands stretch far away. -Shelly

Warner, I will work to get Hillary the nomination.  That from one of the more liberal members of this community.
I couldn't care less who the GOP wants to run against.

Wasn't Dean the candidate that the Republicans wanted? And was that for real, or was it just a bunch of smoke and reverse psychology?

It could be that they run around saying, "We want candidate A" because they really DON'T want them.

          (-7.88, -7.95) I'm a non-union non-Chicago machine blue collar Illinois Democrat- because I care!

That's why they got their media lapdogs go ape on the non-dean scream issue.  Have you heard one of these hypocrits call Ann Coulter "shrill" just once much less hundreds of times.  That says it all about the organized media effort.  It's sort of like price fixing.
