  •  Good god! You are citing unsourced 'poll results' (0+ / 0-)

    as evidence of . . . something?

      •  Did you look at the poll results linked therein? (1+ / 0-)

First of all, this from the article

The telephone survey was conducted Friday through Sunday among 1,012 American adults, half of whom were asked to rate Hillary Clinton and the other half asked to rate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Most of the questions in the CNN poll have a sampling error of plus or minus 3 to 5 percent.

Splitting the sample increases, of course, the MOE; 506 people were asked each question, so the MOE is at least the high one (for 'most' questions) of 5%. But that refers to the entire sample, so the additional analytic splits among Rs, Ds, and Is has a still higher MOE and lower significance.

This is junk-polling. Not interesting at all. 'Crazy' refers most appropriately to those who would bet a nickel based on these results.

    •  It isn't unsourced (0+ / 0-)

It's from Harper's Index in Harper's magazine, the current issue of which is not available online, which is why I didn't provide a link.

And I didn't say it was evidence of anything -- just that it's interesting.
