in North San Diego County. I'm talking about the recent special election to replace briberyman 'Duke' Cunningham. A fantastic chance to pick up a seat...

But the Democrat Busby's opponent completely ignored Iraq (Iraq was not even mentioned on his website) and relentlessly hammered Busby over illegal immigration. Busby, like most Democrats, had taken the politically correct but loser position (i.e. a conditioned amnesty that keeps all the illegal immigrants here and encourages more to come, and avoids 'corporate sanctions' like the taboo it is for all 'corporate' candidates).

Busby lost by only 4%, so if she had taken an immigration position that valued US working class citizens more highly than the needs of illegal immigrants (and the corporations and individuals that exploit them) she probably would've won an awesome victory for Democrats in a heavily Republican district. A pretty good summary of the race is at

Just one example of what the Democrats lose with their pro-illegal stance. Many more losses are in store for us in November!

Are all you politically correct Democrats comfortable with two more years of a Republican Congress? Get on the side of the US working man and woman, Democrat elite!

Thom Hartmann or Stephanie Miller for President, alternatives to the wonks and whimps

The Democratic position that "illegals are just trying to help their fambilies" is not going over well.

Democrats need to realize that ordinary working people do NOT like the position where illegals are considered part of the democratic party, and should be welcomed in. Illegals are not Americans.  They are not here to help US, American citizens.

Huge majorities oppose the Dems on this illegal issue.

      •  That is not the Democratic position at all (1+ / 0-)

where ever did you get that idea?

And wasn't this dairy about how legal Latino Americans feel about this position?

        Woooosh guess you missed it!

This diary was about how American citizens (i.e. voters) feel about the Democratic party. Not all of us latinos are wetbacks, centerdem!

        •  Why is it that (0+ / 0-)

          you are obsessed with wetbacks?

This seems like some very bizarre fixation of yours.

What's the deal?  I am not a mental health professional, but you gotta wonder about someone who spends all of his or her time obsessing about wetbacks, as apparently you do...
