One of the better consequences of the last six years may be that we get to return our elected officials to the understanding that they are there at our will, they are to listen to us, and they can be removed if their own agendas take over.

Probably the best consequence of the last six years is that the Democrats and Independents will no longer allow their 'live & let live' philosophy - you know, the one that respects other's viewpoints - to be used against them. While you don't have to reflect all of my personal philosophies, you'd damn well better reflect the broad democratic principles that we all believe in.

An aside, someone at Kos made a good point earlier this week - Lieberman's biggest contributors are also from out of state - a fact that he has used against Lamont.

Bye, Joe, don't let the door hit you on the arse on your way out. And don't be too bitter, you'll enjoy the best healthcare and retirement package that we can provide - whether you deserve it or not. And please remember that a lot of the people who are helping to pay for that for you have NO health care or retirement pay.
