issue is prone to spamming and repetitive arguments.

This however, does not mean that we should avoid discussing these topics.

"the number of diaries devoted to this issue is enough to make me and many people here just about puke at this point."

I'm lying?  You did say these diaries are enough to make you puke.    Did you not?

            •  can you even read what you quoted (0+ / 0-)
              fuckin moron

my words as quoted by you before you lied about them again within 3 words of quoting it (lmfao):

"the number of diaries devoted to this issue is enough to make me and many people here just about puke at this point."

here are your accusations of what i said in that quote that make you look like a moron or a liar....one of the two.   btw...thanks for quoting my own words for me.  it makes it even easier and more laughable that you did so and then lied again right after quoting me.

              accusation 1:

kossacks commenting on this topic made you puke.

              accusation 2:

You did say these diaries are enough to make you puke.

again, for the morons like you, my words that you quoted, that make a lie out of every accusation you made:

the number of diaries devoted to this issue is enough to make me and many people here just about puke at this point.

god you're an idiot and a liar.

please buy a fucking clue before it's too late.   moron.

Bold highlights make all the difference.   puke, kossacks etc.  There it is.  quote yourself.  You seem to loath a great deal of the commentary on here.  why stick around?

                  •  you seem to be conviently ignoring the... (0+ / 0-)
...thread below.   But what does this mean?

"the number of diaries devoted to this issue is enough to make me and many people here just about puke at this point."

The kossacks themselves don't disgust you but the quantity does?

                    •  you're getting warmer (0+ / 0-)

but still don't get the point

ignoring the thread below?   lmfao....even more proof that you are ignoring the point.

is ignorance your specialty, Salo?   apparently so.   try and step back from the keyboard for a few minutes and let the posts that youv'e been responding to....the initial one you have been quoting especially.....salivate in your brain.   the fact that you even wonder why i'm not looking at other threads, in light of what i've stated on this topic that you've quoted, is pretty easy to ascertain for anyone with a brain (or half of one).  the fact that you say i'm "conveniently ignoring" something i've never seen and never plan to see (for reasons i've already stated) is simply hilarious.

Salo, please learn some reading comprehension.   I've said what I'm going to say and yet you keep on missing it ...though you're getting warmer while still adding in a bit of idiocy lol.

Seriously....go read my initial comment, which you took the unbelievable step in quoting and then lying about, again.....read it until it sinks in.

Stop making me think you're a complete liar or a fool.   Make it clear which one, or neither, that you are.   As it stands right now...the "neither" part doesnt exist.

              •  So let me see... (0+ / 0-)
...kossacks commenting on the issue don't make you puke, but the amount of Kossacks commenting on these issues make you want to puke.

Yes, come to think of it I see a big difference there.  Certainly no inference that kossacks disgust you or anything like that.  Why stick around?

        IM, just passing through

that does not reflect reality -- but states that there are an overwhelmingly disproportionate amount of reckless & inappropriate diaries on the Irael / Lebanon conflict -- I would have to scratch my head and ask, what is all the fuss about then?

I've gone further with my research into this...

        RESULTS AS OF NOW:

A total of 25 diaries out of the past 200 have been about the Israel / Lebanon conflict

I did not employ a seriously flawed methodology of doing a search for keywords.

        I looked at each diary.

And I state again, as I have stated before -- being that the number of diaries that discuss the Lebanon / Israel situation is hovering around 12% currently -- I don't think that this is a serious problem at Daily Kos.

And considering that the Lebanon / Israel conflict  is not discussed in the Front Page Diaries and the percentage is pretty much the same for the rec'd diaries -- I think this diarist is seriously overstating a problem and is being disingenuous with his data.

Did you not notice that he co-related a problem to his flawed data without any data to support this argument?

The endless, repetitive, and sometimes hateful cascade of L/I/P screeds are not helping this goal. Frankly, in many cases, they seem to violate a number of diary rules of behavior.

Show me the proof that a significant number of diaries fall into this category.  Indeed, is this not a subjective analyses itself?

I'll admit that there are some diaries that fall into this category, but who is this diarist to call the moral high ground here?  That's why we have a "recommend" system.  If the diarist doesn't like what the majority have to say on DKos -- fine.  But don't write a diary that spews flawed analyses and draws invalid inferences from this data.

      •  And may I also point out (0+ / 0-)

that the title of this diary is

        "The Passion of The Kos".

Nope.  That's not generalizing things too much.
