      Why would an established party power challenge Kohl? It's a Quixotic mission, not a "career move". Every vote for Ben makes a point and strengthens opposition - the best we can do. Kohl ain't Lieberman, or even Feinstein or Cantwell. He's more popular and less consistently centrist. Not a good target for an establishment pol to fire at.

        I've seen some anti-Masel sentiment here, along the lines of "He's not serious" (really meaning he's not establishment enough. Uh, that's the point?).

            A) Has a great health care plan
            B) Doesn't require a drug test
            While I thought this was all pretty funny, I can see how many would immediately label someone like that "fringe" and unserious.
