...some old people next. Or maybe coma patients. No, wait, I've got it! Disabled people!

Come on. I understand where you are coming from but this collection of bigoted stereotypes might help you feel better, but it doesn't help matters.

What you are doing here is describing people who do most of the working, living, and dying in this country. They aren't the problem, they are the people in "We, The People." Mocking them doesn't help anything.

To the extent that you show what information they need, I guess your post is helpful.

I am always made uncomfortable whenever a group is singled out for ridicule or contempt. If these people you mock got some good information, they have brains. They'll figure it out. Some of them are gasp smarter than you or I. Don't make the mistake of confusing ignorance with stupidity.

These same people you mock here were the bedrock of the first progressive movement in the United States. These were the supporters of Eugene Debs.

the drivers, the sport, or the fans, you could not be more wrong.  I lived in Daytona Beach for 4 years and went to the races every chance I got.  One time I sat in the Pepsi Paddocks in the Pfizer VIP seats and had pit passes. I love Hot Rods, have had a few myself, and married a mechanic from Arkansas of all places, even though I am originally an Illinois girl.  When I moved to Vero Beach, I still went and worked on Main Street in Daytona during BikeWeek and RaceWeek events.  I love bikers and race cars, and I am a liberal democrat who does not fit into any one stereotype, like most fans of the sport. I have other interests, as well.  Maybe you could attempt to understand your Southern neighbors better before you go judging ME.  I will post what I want regarding Dale Junior and NASCAR races.  If ya don't like it, don't read posts with my username.  Thank you for your concern.

        •  No, but I did (0+ / 0-)

No, but I did think you were making fun of people from places ranging from the midwest to the south. I thought you were making fun of people who have only a basic education. Perhaps I saw irony where none was intended.  If I was mistaken, then obviously I am very sorry.
