    If Lamont wins in big numbers, it changes everything. No more "triangulating" Dems like Hillary trying to play both sides and pander to centrism. It means if you want that seat in Congress on the Dem side, you come out strong against Iraq and against Bush. The voters will reward that.

    If Lieberman squeaks out, it sends the opposite memo. We are all hoping that CT voters use their vote today as a demonstration, as a protest. The nation is watching because Lieberman had this seat down cold - it was his personal property. He had $10 million to defend it, and here comes a nobody out of nowhere and in a few months Lieberman's machine had wheels coming off. So yes, I see this exactly as Occam does.
