whether we win or lose tonight. This misrepresentation of our opinions must STOP.

We must show what REAL national security means, and where Bush and the Republicans are driving of the cliff.

There is no anti security-wing in the Democratic party. But there is a torture-wing and a diplomacy-wing.

Today "balance in the media" means a balance between political fact and conservative ideology.

    •  What it is is the anti-EMPIRE wing (0+ / 0-)
There is absolutely no reason why progressive Dems should not say that they are against America being an empire. (People like Kerry and the Clintons, not to mention Joe, are clearly for empire.)

The neocons openly spoke of the US being an empire. So they brought the term into the discussion. And being against America being an empire is a noble tradition: American Anti-Imperialist League.

Liberalism is the origin and center of American politics. Thus, to reject liberalism is to reject America.

It's too easy to bundle together with anti-patriotism.

Let us accept the role as a superpower and use it as a force of good.
