      senators dont win..

      america looks to executive experience, not legislative..

      but that being said, oh, i dream of feingold/clark in 08

      every judgment teeters on the brink of error; claiming absolute knowledge is monstrous.

        on the senate as launch position.

        Gotta say that I'm skittish on Clark though.  I have the sense he pulled some punches in the past and fell into the politician trap of trying to please too many audiences....but it's early, we'll see!

          indeed.  he's used to commanding troops, not rallying public opinion.  he's a sharp man and im sure he's learned from his mistakes.

          the reason i envision him on the ticket is because it makes it all but impossible for swiftboating smears to stick.  most americans will remember he was supreme commander of NATO, and all he would have to do is point to that, and his distinguished military record.  i highly doubt his colleagues would swift boat him - we already hear of the dissension in the ranks between the civvies and the pentagon.
