It is now a subscribers-only story.

    •  I just got in OK (0+ / 0-)

and I'm not a subscriber. But I copied and pasted it into a Word doc, just in case. So I can forward it to a few friends . . .

The only thing Republicans do well is take our tax dollars and transfer them to the rich, instead of providing the services we thought we were paying for.

        •  WSJ Responses (0+ / 0-)

So far, WSJ has posted three responses. All three are vacuous, personal, namecalling attacks (imho).

          As a friend once said:

Pound the Facts. If you cannot pound the facts, pound the Law. If you cannot pound the Law, pound the desk.

          •  I had to laugh... (0+ / 0-)

...at the response from the woman in Washington, who was jabbing the Dems for not having a program comparable to No Child Left Behind, and of course for our determination to cut and run and surrender in Iraq.

Geez...if the GOP is planning on running on NCLB and the war, we really could be looking at a landslide!  :)

    •  The best line - needs to be repeated and repeated (5+ / 0-)

"and we don't step on the accelerator when the car is headed off the cliff."

      •  Brakes! Even Republicans (except idiots) know (0+ / 0-)

this group has gone too far, & only Dems can supply reliable brakes.
        Torture.
        NOLA.
        No investigation of war-profiteering.
"Ned Lamont is the Al Qaeda candidate".

So we will see registered GOP voting Dem this Nov.

There had better be enough of them, or we will also see close results that stink of Diebolding & blatant racial vote-suppression.

Why do neo-cons hate America's freedom?

Mean people truly, really suck suck suck. Bye for now, & sorry about what happened to all the fish! (they were Pisces, & working to scale...)
