    The news pages are superb. Top notch reporting.  A firewall between editorial and news.

    We all know about the editorial pages.  Many—if not most— journal subscribers simply skip them, but anyone who needs business news finds the WSJ a must read

    I wonder how many CT voters read the WSJ?  A lot, I bet.

      do a good job.  And many of their readers probably find the editorial page as crazy as we do.

      But that's not my point.  My point is that this is still a newspaper of the economic elite of this country.  And the problem in this country is not that our economic elite is unrepresented.

      We need people in public life who will, as the saying goes, comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.  Lamont's Op-Ed is pretty much the opposite.
