  •  It really hurts to be (0+ / 0-)

a national league fan about now.  The only teams that have even a remote chance of winning one World Series game are the Dodgers and the Mets.  I am a die-hard Cardinal fan, and their starting rotation has fallen completely apart---all of them except Chris Carpenter. They are about to slip out of first place........and ownership is trying to get by with a bunch of other teams' castoffs.  It's painful to watch.  On the positive side, I love to see the Twins and Tigers do so well, and maybe just maybe Oakland will be there at the end this year.  Sorry, I really HATE the Yankees and the Red Sox.  I'm excited about baseball for the next several years...the American League has a ton of top flight young pitchers that are exciting to watch.  In the National League, they have a ton of really great 3rd baseman, and they should be interesting to watch for years to come.

through, but I have a feeling it'll come down to the Tigers and White Sox.  Really though, all three teams are great, and I'd be pleased to see any of them win the series (though I have a special place in my heart for the A's).
