As an Indians fan, I've had an opportunity now to watch many other teams beat our asses. Judging on those games, here are my predictions:

    AL east: Yanks
    Central: Tigers
    West: A's
    Wildcard: ChiSox

Playoffs: Tigers beat A's, ChiSox beat Yanks.
Pennant: Chicago Whitesox (also your back-to-back world series champs).

the World Series this year...what happened?  You've got Hafner, Sizemore, Victor Martinez, Peralta, CC Sabathia, Cliff Lee...

      •  We also have a GM (0+ / 0-)

who has the equivalent IQ of an old left tennis shoe. Trading away Belliard, Wickman, and a host of other players. Shapiro, you suck.

Pronk will end up following in Thome and Manny's footsteps.

was that they traded their sparkplug Coco Crisp to the Red Sox. I can't even began to say how stupid that was. Prior to that trade I liked Cleveland as a sleeper to win the Central and maybe make it to the Fall Classic. I think that trade (of Crisp) totally changed the chemistry and makeup of that team before they even played a game.

Sox this year. They are not cuckoo for Coco Crisp in Boston.  They actually admitted to wanting Damon back...

I still think that trade really hurt the Indians. It set them back like two or three years. Sizemore is great, but when you move him to leadoff you significantly weaken the middle of the order.

I just felt that Coco was a key member of that team last year. Maybe Shapiro overreacted to blowing the lead in the last two weeks. I think if they'd have kept Crisp he would have played better and the team would have been much better. Just my opinion.

their pitching and defense have been awful.  Their offense is still one of the best in the league.

Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?

    •  ChiSox still have three games (0+ / 0-)

against the Tigers. That series and this weekend series against the twinkies will make the difference. (That and finding a way to beat the Royals!).
