    Although the US ten-cent piece has shrunk considerably in purchasing power, it can still buy a hell of a lot more information than it used to. My broadband connection costs about double what my modem connection did ten years ago, but it is 200 times faster.

    The Internet doesn't suspend the laws of economics, but it bends them into some crazy shapes. Some of us these shapes will help us build a better world.
