  •  Bush's "I am not a crook" moment. (6+ / 0-)

Bush said "I do not support torture". That's right up there with "I am not a crook" and "I did not have sex with that woman". Someone should put those three statements together and disseminate it.

I listened to Bush's speech today. He claimed credit for the anti-torture bill, when in reality he fought it tooth and nail, and threatened to veto it. I think Bush made a mistake in mentioning the word "torture".

It is the job of thinking people not to be on the side of the executioners.

is 'Bush admits to secret prisons operated by the CIA'.

The rest of the stuff isn't even going to register. All that you hear, all that catches your attention is 'secret prisons' and 'torture' and 'we don't torture'

And then there's the fact that 5 yrs, billions of dollars, 3000 soldiers dead, 20,000 maimed, and all we have are 14 guys, not even the main one, and kangaroo trials? We won't even talk about what we did to Iraq, or the bungled mess in Afghanistan.

THAT is going to piss people off. Even more than they already are.
