    During the Vietnam war American journalists brought the conflict into our living rooms every day, including pictures of the thousands of flag draped coffins returning home.  Back then, of course, the media were not all in the pocket of the administration.  During Vietnam, journalists and commentators reported what they saw which was often in direct contradiction to the lies and half-truths uttered by the Johnson and Nixon administrations.

      Back in the Sinclair foofaraw you wrote about the FCC and license renewal. I think you said something about the "public file."

      That information would be useful to re-post for people contacting their ABC affiliates, no?
