that the Phase II report would get lost in the Mickey shuffle, have no fear. I'll have a LOT more on the report mid-week, and plenty of Kossacks have also contributed work on the issue.

Reports won't end the desire to kill. The 43% believe the link between Iraq and 911 because they want to. Until their methods are verifiably exposed as flawed we're just gonna have to cover our balls and try to find some Democrats who give a shit.

    •  Anti-Americanism (5+ / 0-)

There is evidently a new book out entitled "Overblown".  It's done by a professor in Illinois, Indiana, referenced on This Week.  Says that chances of an American being killed in this country by a terrorist attack is roughly equal to an American's chances of being hit by a comet.

Since 2004, anti-Americanism has increased.  Some studies indicate that the rest of the world has turned not only against the American government but the American people.  Afterall, the government was dumb but after the reelection of Bush, folks in the rest of the world began to deduce that the American people were equally dumb.

This is the price we pay for a hyperbolic media.

      •  I remember a study (0+ / 0-)

that came out in the '70s that said that a woman over 35, who had never been married, had roughly the same chance of getting married as being killed by terrorists.  I would hazard a guess that the statistics haven't changed much.

I'll bet that there are some folks at the White House, if given the chance to have just one scalp, would want yours.

There is no higher form of flattery than that.
