    they should be funded adequately enough that they would be able to offer sufficient fellowships (paid, rather than volunteer internships), so that folks who've had the benefit of experience and training could populate the back-offices and front of our side's campaign ...

    the right's been at this since the 70's ... and the difference in foundation think-tank development/funding is astounding ... the conservatives are paying campus recruiters to build volunteer organizations ... our side's just beginning ...

    the level of financial commitment needed to level the playing field is, frankly, mind-boggling ...
