[re-posted; but it speaks to your point of whom W might battle next... for the depth of the septic tank spot]

Harding? corruption of which he was oblivious.

Hoover? "Prosperity is just around the corner!"
people must have grown tired of hearing that by the 3rd year of the worsening Great Depression...

Buchanan? Dithered while the States Un-United; a possible, arguable equal to W, along with "When the President does it, it is legal" Nixon

I know there are other diasters, but the impatience of youth drives me to reveal my choice as the only true W Misleadership Equal in the race to the septic tank nadir...

George "a traitor is everyone who does not agree with me" Hanover the Third, of whom it was said, "He has erected a multitude of new offices by a self-assumed power, & sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people & eat out their substance."

we're hardly the first to mark the resemblance of the two separated by time, yet not mind, Georges.

"The history of his present majesty, is a history of unremitting injuries and usurpations ... all of which have in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world, for the truth of which we pledge a faith yet unsullied by falsehood."

-the eventual 3rd President, & articulate liberal, Thom Jefferson
