I hadn't quite thought of judging snark that way. I always thougth the best snark was the kind that made a point....

Just out of curiousity, did you follow any of the links that i provided? if so, what was your exact reation? did you think i posted the wrong link, or did you just think i was completely stupid?

    •  I fumed through your post... (0+ / 0-)

...without checking the links. I usually do a read through first and then go back. The links, had I looked right away, would have been a dead giveaway, but HA! I didn't read 'em.

So then...I just well...figured it out a little and then the comments substantiated it. I hadn't even gone to your user information yet.

Of course the best snark "makes a point," but that's a given. The longer you can hold the emotional response though; I think the more attention you've grabbed and the stronger your point is made.

      Just me.

About the pissing and moaning over these two bills:
Legalizing torture (and getting Bushie off the hook) and Legalizing unchecked domestic spying--

I'm not happy with the response from our elected representatives. I think they should be screaming their heads off and explaining to people why they're screaming their heads off. Sure it's hard to reach people now and maybe Americans don't really care about torture (as long as it isn't them!)--but it wasn't always so. Disinformation Operatives have been at work for many years to bring out as much ugliness as can be found among Americans. They've been doing it pretty much unopposed. I do blame Democrats in Congress and others with a public voice for this. I think things could've been different if people had raised hell sooner.

I won't abandon the party over this, but I'm sure as hell going to work to change it.

I think we’ll win. I think we’ll sweep the damn nation. People are so ready for change. Doesn't mean I'm not pissed at certain Democratic officials and doesn't mean I won't work like hell to replace them.

The United States of America has become One Giant Funny Farm.
