  •  We should no longer call our capitol "Washington" (9+ / 0-)

In his book, Washington’s Crossing, David Hackett Fischer tells how General Washington ensured captured British and Hessian solders were treated humanely even though they had mistreated and killed our wounded and captured soldiers.

It was an amazing demonstration of his moral character, and set a standard eventually the whole world embraced via the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Now, we are violating it AS A MATTER OF POLICY, and about make it A MATTER OF LAW.

We no longer deserve to call our capitol Washington. Call it "Reagan Town" or "The Bush Ranch."

    We should be ashamed.
