    I agree with you that it is mind-boggling that a nation which fought against the wholesale brutality of Fascism would condone its methods now. It soudns like your father would agree.

      but was vehemently opposed to the enactment of the Patriot Act, as he saw it as the first step towards the disassembling of the Bill of Rights.

      He also easily recognized Bush and Cheney as the little tin gods that they truly are.

        ...fought fascism and they know dictators for who they are. I know that BushCo does have some supporters of that age, but most of the sneiors I've met know him for the wanna-be Mussolini he is. And they despise him for it.
