I don't think the country has let go just yet.  It may be clinging by one or two fingers, but we have not gone irrevocably down this path.

Will the 28th be a day of national shame to commemorate? Oh hell yes.  But, I am buoyed by SusanG. I will fight on; one donation, one door knock, one friend, one neighbor at a time, until we get it right.  But someday, when we do finally get it right, we should, we must, look back to this line in the sand and well note those who stood and those who stepped back.  Just like our founding fathers drew their line in the sand, and stood firm at Lexington and Concord, and said that the Crown had gone to far.

There is a large group of citizens who are standing and saying the Republicans have gone too far.  There should be, there must be, a fight in every district and every precinct. Against every Republican that abuses our rights, and every Democrat that appeases the abuse.  Lieberman should only be the first casualty in a fight to regain our nation and our values.

"Another terrorism speech by the president is sort of like reruns of Seinfeld. It's on every night and we've memorized most of the lines." --Craig Crawford
