There's a whole lot the fundies don't get, but they sure as hell get the House leadership enabling a pedophile.  Game, set, and match for them w/ their most loyal base.

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I see things that never were and ask why not?

If the same Dems who just allowed Torture to now become Law along with the Scrapping of the Great Writ, while funding $70M to build a "border fence" that keeps people in, as well as keeping them out. Sorry if I am not as optomistic for a cogent message coming from this crop of Dems to maximize this scandal.......

Foley has just lain the collective neck of the Republican Party down for the Dems to dig the soles of their shoes into, and not let up.

We are crashing the gates because they continualy fail to stand on the necks of the Reich Wing even when it is fucking handed to them.......Something about "keepingh their Powder Dry".

    •  Sorry to sound a bit skeptical (0+ / 0-)

while the Dailykos community is all over this story, but one might've thought that creating a fake White House Press Corps journalist with prostitution and tax evasion in his past, and with unexplained numerous visitations to the White House would have set the press off into a prurient frenzy, and put off fundie ardor for the Bush administration like a blast of artic air ... but it didn't come close to happening.  The Abramoff corruption made a wee bigger dent, didn't it, but it probably should've have wrecked the whole lobbying system and Congress.

There is an enormous capacity, I think, for a rank political system in the hands of wealthy, controlling   and evil types like the neocons to absorb and blunt the worst scandals.  In any case, I will at least be making sure any remaining Bush/Republican supporters around me here about all three of these matters frequently, at least up until election day in November.
