    Brown could not get a word in edge-wise.  Whenever he talked, DeWine immediately talked over him.

      and got caught a little flat-footed when asked what to do now in Iraq - he should have had a theme, as in DeWine is a failure as a candidate, DeWine was a failure on intelligence committee, DeWine is a failure as a supervisor for the war - lots of stuff.  He DID get in a pretty good statement about being for hte middle class, at the end.

        one way or the other.  Brown is just a little bit ahead, and that is BEFORE all the bad news of the last few days.

        DeWine REFUSED to call for Hastert and Reynolds resignations even if they knew about Foley emails and failed to act to protect the congressional pages.
