    this will only go somewhere if the pressure keeps up. Problem is is that the media is the one that normally keeps up the pressure. No private citizen or corporation has the capability of keeping this situation in the public eye. Congressional leadership is desperately trying to bury this mess and avoid blame, which they will be able to do if the press does not do its job. The Democrats can try to apply pressure, but without the press it may just be read as partisan efforts to discredit Republicans before the election. The media has been unwilling to go after Republicans. They spend a lot of time on stories like the Natalie Holloway disappearance, but barely mention administration scandals. Compare this to the 24/7 coverage the Monica Lewinsky scandal had. It's time for the media to admit its culpability for the wrongs of this administration. Just how much more are they willing to live with?
