    ...night, and not to thread highjack, but when I got home a short while ago and was playing catch-up and read the quotes on the front page form earlier that Richard Viguerie and Paul Weyrich think Hastert should step-down I have to tell ya... just as you were at a loss for words to convey shock and awe of the scope of what you were writing about the other night, I can only echo those two words about Viguerie and Weyrich and say...

    HOLY CRAP!!!

    Richard Viguerie and Paul Weyrich?!?!?

    I don't think most here get that these are not just "conservative activists" as they are called in the pull quoted pieces. These are two of a few key organizers, the number of which you can count on one hand, that built the entire VRWC we are dealing with today. These are the guys who, with Coors, Scaife and other foundation moneymen started CATO, Heritage and the whole rats nets of in-bred organizations and spin-offs. These guys are the founders of the VRWC... and they are saying Hastert should go.

    Hastert is dead man walking.
