            When Hastert trotted out the age-old "its all the librul media and George Soros' fault!" ploy this time (variations of which have at least served to blunt criticism in the past) even usually GOP-friendly Pundettes rolled their eyes and scoffed.

            The spell of everlasting GOP political dominance is now broken. Media types who have given them a pass in the past to secure future access can now safely pull the long knives.

            I don't think even Uncle Karl understands how ugly its going to get from now on.
